War-torn 6M Persuade their Parents

Thumbnail image for evacuatedchildren.jpg
In year 6, we are learning about children in World War 2. The children have pretended that they have been evacuated and hate staying with their host families.
Their task was to persuade their parents to take them back. Our target is to improve sentence structure and punctuation this year. Their work is excellent.
Well parents, have they been persuasive enough? Would you take them back?
Let your children know.

Excellent work! The letters convince me that you're all having a horrible time. But of course, war time was terrible. Particularly so for all those away from home and their loved ones. I wonder how the parents felt receiving such letters?

Writing the letters was really fun!
