Mrs Poad has done an amazing job teaching the children Art this year and they have written and performed a puppet show in Art class. The children have recorded their work and they are here for everyone to see. I hope you enjoy them as much as the key stage one classes have. Just click on a link to see the puppet shows.

We think our puppet shows worked really well! All of them were great. Mrs Poad put a lot of effort into them and so did we!

I was in the group with Francesca,Tom and Rosie. We did the one about stranger danger (Millie Marbles). Mrs Poad helped us through it ; we couldn't have done it without her.

The puppet show was very good. Our group was called Cactus Juice and we had Alexa,Sarah,Cameron and Matthew.

I did the one about strangers, 'stranger danger', with Fraser, Tom and Rosie. We thoroughly enjoyed it, Mrs Poad is a great art teacher and she guided us through-out the process. The different stages included: brain-storming play ideas with group, writing script, designing puppets, making puppets, designing scenes, making the scenes and theatres, then finally performing them. My group performed them in front of the reception classes, Mrs Suthren's KS1 assembly (year 1 and 2) and we have also been asked to perform for playgroup! Thanks x

I really enjoyed the puppet shows. My group consisted of me(Tom Potts) as Merlin, Fraser Poad( son of D.T/Art teacher) as the stranger, Francesca Best as the main character Millie Meadows & lastly, Rosie Askew as the old narrator. Our play was called Stranger Danger
It was made to warn people of keeping away from strangers. Our play also has happy scenes, funny scenes and scary scenes. To find out more please watch it.
