Foundation Stage Chinese New Year Activities
This week in both the nursery and reception unit the children have been engaged in
activities linked to Chinese New Year. This is the Year of the Tiger and the children have been making chinese dragons, copying Chinese writing, enjoying a stir fry meal and finding out how Chinese New Year is celebrated. As well as finding out about Chinese culture the children have had an opportunity to find how different cultures celebrate special times in their own particular way. The children have enjoyed this very much and you may like to follow this up as at the weekend there are a range of activities in Newcastle on Sunday14 th February 2010.
