Lands End to John O'Groats - Day 13 28 Jan
Don completed the final leg of his journey on the 28th January, covering 85 miles, arriving in John O'Groats at 14:40.

For the first time since his journey started in Cornwall, Don's ride was aided by a tailwind.
He encountered some long and steep climbs at Helmsdale and Barriedale.
The tail wind helped keep the speed fairly high as his target grew ever closer.
Then at 14:40 he reached his goal.
Having taken a short time to admire the scenery, it was back on the bike (this time back into the wind!) to cover another 20 miles to a bed and breakfast in Thurso.
